History and Philosophy

Exemplary Enterprises and its first "child", Exemplary Exchange, both located in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina, started in early 2006 as the newest endeavors of its owner, known to all who know him as "Mr. Bill."

After serving his hitch in US Army Aviation (the Best Above the Best), Mr. Bill amassed over thirty years of experience which includes application engineering and sales of all sorts of industrial, commercial, and consumer electrical and electronic gizmos, widgets and doohickeys, along with many years of hotel management. In all these areas, Mr. Bill has insisted on three common requirements. Those are "Exemplary" service, "Exemplary" product, and "Exemplary" value.

Mr. Bill says:
"Anybody can ship an order, and probably even get it right, in one or two days, at a pretty good price, and give pretty good service, MOST of the time. What makes the big difference is "Exemplary" service ALL of the time. Even more of a difference is when the inevitable glitch happens (usually the fault of the computer, of course) or the customer feels he was misled or did not get what he thought he was getting, or needs something out of the ordinary, the item arrived defective or damaged, or did not arrive at all. We could go on and on. What does the seller do about those things? It is especially in such circumstances that "Exemplary" service really shines. An "Exemplary" seller must be honest, forthright, truthful, and be willing to work hard to make things happen for the customer that will exceed their expectations. "Exemplary" means we set the example, the standard for everyone else to follow. We must live up to our name in every way; service, product and value."

Fast Delivery: Exemplary Exchange has the ability to ship from several strategically located warehouses. Your orders will be shipped from the warehouse that will provide the fastest delivery to you. Every effort will be made to ship orders within one business day. We will normally ship via UPS or USPS. Other methods of shipment are available (FEDEX, DHL, Etc.). All orders will be shipped to confirmed addresses only, with tracking numbers and signature required upon delivery (USPS Delivery Confirmation may be used for some Priority Mail shipments, when applicable).
